LUDINGTON — Safe Harbor Credit Union has just recently launched a second mobile app for its members. The app allows members to monitor and manage transactions and also allows them to instantly deposit funds into their accounts.

“All you have to do is to take a picture of a check and then select the account that you want the funds deposited into, it’s that simple,” said Kyle Gurzynski, vice president. “We naturally have a lot of members who live right here in the area who like to come in and visit our staff at our branch, but we this is especially convenient for people who are out of the area, such as students who are away to college.

“This is just another way for us to serve our members. While we are only one branch, members can use literally thousands of credit unions across the country to manage their accounts. The app now gives them another level of service that we are very proud to provide.”

Safe Harbor Credit Union also offers a Card Navigation App, which allows members to instantly manage their debit cards.

“Through the Card Navigation App, members can set spending limits on a card and they can set limits on which vendors the card can be used at,” Gurzynski said. “The app also allows you to shut off a debit card and turn it back on. This is helpful in case the card is lost, and then found again. While the card is shut down, it can’t be used. The spending limit option is great for parents to control their teenagers’ spending.”

The apps can be downloaded for free from either Apple or Google app stores.
