College to host ‘America’s Got Talent’ contestant in a free performance.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — The West Shore Community College Student Senate will welcome “America’s Got Talent” contestant, Chris Jones, to the college’s Center Stage Theater for a free performance on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m.

One of the newest and most energetic hypnosis performers, Chris Jones has been called, “the Adam Sandler of hypnosis.” He offers a high-energy show that is interactive for both those being hypnotized and those in the audience, and is guaranteed to make you cry from laughing. Jones was on the season premiere of America’s Got Talent in 2015 where he hypnotized Howie Mandel to shake hands.

Jones has taken a roundabout way to becoming one of today’s most entertaining performers by taking his insane hypnosis show to high schools, colleges, and universities across the country. His show allows students to become the stars and offers a performance unlike any other.

A lifelong student and native of Chicago, he spent the last seven years living on college campuses. A track and cross country athlete, he became a resident assistant and hall director after finishing graduate school. In his free time, he enjoys running marathons and hopes to qualify for the Olympic Trials one day.

While the show relies on volunteers from the audience, adult language may be used by participants under hypnosis and the performance may not be suitable for those 13 and under.

The Center Stage Theater is located in the Arts and Sciences Center.
