Candidate petitions for August primary election now available.

LUDINGTON — Petitions are now available for candidates seeking to have their names placed on the August 7, 2018 Primary Election ballot.  Candidates of the Democratic, Republican, or Libertarian parties seek their respective party nomination at the August primary election  in order to be considered for election on the November General Election ballot.  Packets can be picked up at the Mason County Clerk’s office in the Mason County Courthouse, 304 E. Ludington Ave.

Those individuals desiring to be a township officer candidate for a partial term in the following townships need to contact their local township clerk for further details: Free Soil, Logan, Pere Marquette Charter, and Riverton.

The filing deadline for partisan offices to be considered for nomination on the August 7, 2018 Primary Election ballot is April 24, 2018 at 4 p.m.
