Third-offense drunk driving, destroying police property top arraignments.

LUDINGTON — The following proceedings recently occurred in 79th District Court:

Arraignments

Felony

Nickleson

– Jennifer Lynn Nickleson, 29, of 210 E. Second St., Scoville, was arrested Dec. 31 by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police on felony charges of third-offense operating while intoxicated, resisting and opposing police (two counts); and malicious destruction of police property, along with a misdemeanor of second-offense driving while license suspended. Preliminary exam: Jan. 17 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

Misdemeanor

– Peter Nicholas Bailey, 38, of 1560 Bagley St., Detroit; Jan. 1; Mason County Sheriff’s Office; operating with a high blood alcohol content. Pretrial: Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Sentencing

– Todd Michael Korczynski, 45, of 2205 Castlewood Dr., Toledo, Ohio, was found guilty Jan. 2 of taking deer without a license and was sentenced to $1,250 in fines and costs and is unable to apply for a hunting license until Jan. of 2021. He was also found guilty of excessive bait – over the legal limit and was sentenced to $185 in fines and costs.
