LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Wroble

-Nicholas David Wroble, 29, address listed as Mason County Jail, pleaded guilty October 24 to breaking and entering a building and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 99 days served; must serve six months upfront with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 24 months of probation; and $658 in fines/costs. A charge of second-degree home invasion was dropped as part of a plea agreement. See related story here.

Hackert

-Linda Lou Hackert, 69, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Apt. 14, Pere Marquette Township, pleaded no contest October 24 to delivering a controlled substance and was sentenced to 365 days in jail; must serve 90 days upfront with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 18 months of probation; driver’s license suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days; and $658 in fines/costs. Mendoza

-Xavier Sabastian Mendoza, 31, of 1404 N. York Rd., Hart, pleaded guilty October 24 to carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for one day served; must serve three months upfront with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 24 months of probation; and $658 in fines/costs.

Shook

-Kevin Ryan Shook, 30, of 1311 S. Madison St., Ludington, pleaded guilty October 24 to assault/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 86 days served; must serve 90 days upfront with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 24 months of probation; and $658 in fines/costs.

Hackert

-Wesley Donald Hackert, 31, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Apt. 14, Pere Marquette Township; pleaded guilty October 24 to operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL), assault/resisting/obstructing police; and fourth-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail; must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; and $908 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). See related story here.

Canales

-Jared Adam Canales, 49, of 2510 Pine Grove, Muskegon, pleaded guilty July 11 to possession of a controlled substance and third-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 99 days served; must serve five months upfront with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; must complete treatment program upon release from jail; 24 months of probation; driver’s license suspended for 60 days and restricted for 305 days; and $658 in fines/costs. Burrell

-Reenya Bilal-Clinton Burrell, 26, address listed as Mason County Jail, pleaded guilty October 24 to breaking and entering a building and second-offense habitual offender. She was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 105 days served; must wear electronic monitoring device for 90 days upon release from jail; 24 months of probation; and $715 in fines/costs. A charge of first-degree home invasion was dropped as part of a plea agreement. See related story here.
