LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Matthew James Lersch, 43, of 1100 Parkdale St., Lansing, pleaded guilty November 29 to child endangerment and was sentenced to 35 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; must continue current counseling program; must attend AA two times per week for two years; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $1,555 in fines/costs. Charges of domestic violence and operating with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more were dismissed.

-Kevin Michael Fitzgerald, 33, of 306 ½ E. Loomis St., Ludington, pleaded no contest November 22 to aggravated domestic assault and was sentenced to 120 days in jail with credit for 93 days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; no contact with the victim; must have substance abuse and domestic violence evaluations; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $730 in fines/costs. Charges of assault to do great bodily harm less than murder and domestic violence were dismissed.

-Jessica Ann Woodring, 24, of 181 E. Conrad Rd., Custer Township, pleaded guilty November 28 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and improper license plates. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $1,200 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). Charges of transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle and operating without insurance were dismissed.

-Sherece Michele Nehm, 25, of 2447 N. US 31, Victory Township, pleaded guilty November 22 to operating a vehicle while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must obtain substance abuse counseling; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $1,255 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of operating with presence of a controlled substance was dismissed.

-Yvette Zuniga, 31, of 2725 N. US 31, Victory Township, pleaded guilty November 28 to operating an ORV under the influence of liquor and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; may not operate an ORV for six months; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. Charges of possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated were dismissed.

-Kenneth Dale Harbin, 84, of 240 Sherman Oaks Ln., Apt. 256, Ludington, pleaded guilty November 28 to OWIL and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Alicia Ann Goodlow, 34, of 602 E. Danaher St., Apt. 2, Ludington, pleaded guilty November 28 to OWIL and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; must attend victim’s impact panel; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $1,025 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jesus Maria Chavez, 18, of 605 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded no contest November 28 to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to 39 days in jail with credit for 39 days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $860 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Douglas James Calder, III, 60, of 406 E. Filer St., Ludington, pleaded guilty November 28 to OWIL and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; must attend AA two times per week for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of refusing a preliminary breath test was dismissed.

-Mark Harvey Glossinger, 33, of 134 N. Mike St., Fountain, pleaded guilty November 28 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; must attend AA two times per week for one year; no drugs/alcohol; must obtain substance abuse counseling; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $1,095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of careless driving was dismissed.

-Alexis Mariah Frappier, 23, of 708 Fifth St., Ludington, pleaded guilty November 30 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year; may not operating a vehicle until legally able to do so; 12 months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Donald Herbert Spinner, Jr., 30, of 6306 E. Hansen Rd., Branch Township, pleaded guilty November 30 to two counts of  taking a deer without a license – over limit and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; may not apply for hunting license until January 2021; 12 months of probation; and $8,275 in fines/costs.

-Victor Clarence Adamczak, 44, of 4120 Main St., Fountain, pleaded guilty November 30 to taking a deer without license and was sentenced to pay $1,250 in fines/costs and may not apply for hunting license until January 2021.

-Candice Michele Ohmart, 33, of 1989 N. Custer Rd., Custer Township, pleaded guilty November 30 to taking a deer without a license and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year; may not apply for hunting license until January 2021; 12 months of probation; and $1,250 in fines/costs.

-Jeffrey Scott Adamczak, of 1446 W. Hoague Rd., Grant Township, pleaded guilty November30 to failure to wear hunter orange and excess bait and was sentenced to pay $370 in fines/costs.

-Daniel Jay Cox, 47, of 6354 S. Ordway Rd., Eden Township, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Steven Bruce Pitsch, 50, of 1334 N. Payne Lake Rd., Middelville, Michigan, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Stephen L. Reams, 59, of 2860 S. Grantsyn Trail, Branch Township, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Brandon Michael Pitsch, 38, of 472 Nine Mile Rd., Comstock Park, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Andrew Scott Varney, 30, of 1145 S. Brooks, Muskegon, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Scott Lewis Varney, 52, of 8 S. Dangla, Muskegon, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Mark Robert Bonessi, 53, of 11684 Loon Ln., Traverse City, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Bruce Allan Rosma, 63, of 204 N. Elmwood Ave., Traverse City, pleaded guilty November 30 to excess bait and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Clarence John Gajewski, 54, of 7587 N. Quarterline Rd., Grant Township, pleaded guilty November 30 to failure to check traps daily and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.
