Off-duty deputy spots wanted suspects, pair arrested.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — An off-duty Mason County sheriff’s deputy spotted two suspects at a local business Monday afternoon, Nov. 6, who were wanted on multiple warrants, which led to the arrest of a 31-year-old Ludington woman and a 23-year-old Ludington man, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The pair were arrested at 4:05 p.m. in the 5500 block of West US 10, and the deputy recognized them from a previous investigation, the sheriff said. The woman was wanted on a two-count absconder warrant and a failure-to-appear warrant on an original charge of breaking and entering, and the man was wanted on a parole violation/absconder warrant issued by the Lansing Tether Unit, Cole said.
