Open House to celebrate ESD renovations.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — West Shore Educational Service District (ESD) will be hosting an open house on Monday, November 13 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. where the public will be able to tour and explore the newly renovated ESD Main Office building, located at 2130 West US 10-31.

In the spring of this year, West Shore ESD broke ground on a new addition to the building, and kicked-off a larger project to renovate and update several areas within the building. As part of this project, new classrooms were added, a separate entrance and security system was put in place for students, additional collaborative meeting places and conference rooms were added, as well as upgraded technology were part of this renovation.

“We’re excited about the building upgrade and expansion,” said Randy Howes, superintendent. “These upgrades and the newly constructed classrooms will enhance our services to the students attending here and to our local educational partners for many years to come.”

In addition to the renovated building, the public will also have the opportunity to see and learn about the breadth of services provided by the West Shore ESD, including everything from transportation, to special education services, to career and technical education, and other programs.

“As people walk through the building, they will also get a better idea of the wide range of services provided by West Shore ESD,” said Howes.
