Assault arrest tops police activity.

LUDINGTON — Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post arrested a 38-year-old Ludington man for assault Monday, Oct. 30, at 6:57 p.m. in the 900 block of North Gaylord Street, according to Sgt. Charles Hockanson.

Other police activity in Mason County Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 includes:

– 1:41 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, 4100 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township.

– 4:52 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, East US 10 and North Main Street, Custer Township.

– 1:30 p.m., (MSCO), car/deer crash, North Jebavy Drive and West Decker Road, Hamlin Township.

– 1:42 p.m., (MCSO), breaking and entering, 7900 block of North Morton Road, Grant Township.

– 7:02 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, South Pere Marquette Highway and West Iris Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:17 p.m., (MCSO), vehicle crash, no injuries, West Dewey and North Lincoln roads, Hamlin Township.

– 10:18 p.m., (Scottville Police Department), car/deer crash, 400 block of West State Street, Scottville.
