LUDINGTON — The Ludington City Council will hold a community listening session Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the session is for the city to hear what is on citizens’ minds.
“Notwithstanding this, the city council wants to hear about the opportunities and issues that are uppermost in citizens’ minds,” City Manager John Shay stated in a press release. “City Council’s goal of this session is to have a better sense of where the community would like the city to focus its efforts in the near term as well as three and five years out.
“The city council desires to increase community engagement through respectful and engaging dialogue with the citizens in an effort to proactively identify and address important issues. The city council wants to encourage broad community involvement.”
The meeting will take place at the new Lakeshore Resource Network building located at 920 East Tinkham Avenue.
