The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:
Friday, Sept. 1, 2017:
– 5:29 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 south of Countyline Road, Grant Township.
– 6:49 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles Road, north of Kistler Road, Riverton Township.
– 9:36 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, M 116 and Golfwood, Hamlin Township.
– 1:39 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Johnson Road west of Stiles Road, Amber Township.
– 4:06 p.m., credit card fraud, South Tyndall Road, Branch Township. The victim’s ATM card was used to make a $14.99 purchase.
– 4:54 p.m., revoked operator’s license arrest, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. A 42-year-old Branch woman was arrested following a traffic stop.
– 6:35 p.m., two-vehicle crash, minor injuries, US 10 east of Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 8:34 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Barothy and Porter roads, Logan Township.
– 8:40 p.m., open intoxicants and possession of marijuana arrest, Mavis and Lincoln roads, Hamlin Township. A 31-year-old Ludington woman was arrested following a traffic stop.
Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017:
– 11:01 p.m., operating while intoxicated (OWI) arrest, 400 block of Scottville Road, Amber Township. A 19-year-old Gaylord, Michigan woman was arrested following a property damage crash.
Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017:
– 4:05 a.m., OWI – drugs arrest, Angling Road and Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township. A 21-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop.
– 1:24 p.m., gas drive-off, $51 in fuel stolen, 400 block of East US 10 — Scottville EZ Mart, Custer Township.
– 3:41 p.m., gas drive-off, $31.28 in fuel stolen, 5400 block of West US 10 — Airport EZ Mart, Pere Marquette Township.
Monday, Sept. 4, 2017:
– 9:14 a.m., driving while license suspended (DWLS) arrest, Pere Marquette Highway and First Street, Pere Marquette Township. A 34-year-old Cedar Lake, Indiana man was arrested following a traffic stop.
– 11:35 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 Freeway south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township. The vehicle swerved to miss the deer in the road and went into the median.
– 6:30 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 Freeway south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.
