Woman injured in rollover car/deer crash.


CUSTER TOWNSHIP — A 56-year-old Custer woman received minor injuries when her vehicle rolled over after hitting a deer on Custer Road near Powers Road Thursday, Aug. 10, at 5:05 a.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

She was traveling southbound on Custer Road when the crash occurred, Cole said.

Police reported several other car/deer crashes in recent days.

Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017:

– 4:10 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive and Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.

– 5:21 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Chauvez and Palmer roads, Pere Marquette Township.

– 5:46 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 and Gordon Road, Amber Township.

– 9:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Angling Road near Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
