Weekend crashes keep police busy.

The following is recent police activity in Mason County:
Friday, Aug. 4, 2017:
– 6:33 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, Sugar Grove and Amber roads, Victory Township.
– 11:25 a.m., (MCSO), larceny of a trailer plate, Wallace Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
– 1:06 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injuries, 4400 block of West US 10, Amber Township.
– 3:19 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 near Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
– 3:36 p.m., (MCSO), fraud, West Fisher Road, Victory Township. The victim reported that someone had applied for unemployment benefits in their name.
– 6:20 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, Lattin Road west of Pere Marquette Highway, Summit Township.
– 9:05 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Free Soil and Reek roads, Free Soil Township.
– 10:31 p.m., (MCSO), motorcycle crash, with injuries, US 31 freeway near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. A 29-year-old Ludington man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, after he lost control of his motorcycle and went into the ditch.
Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017:
– 6:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer Road north of Fountain Road, Sherman Township.
– 9:59 a.m., (MCSO), a 25-year-old Scottville woman was arrested for bond violation, 100 block of North Amber Road, Amber Township.
– 10:02 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10-31 west of Stiles Road, Amber Township.
– 11:37 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive north of Jagger Road, Hamlin Township.
– 1 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $29.03 in fuel stolen, Scottville Shell, 100 block of East State Street, City of Scottville.
– 1:17 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 south of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
– 1:36 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
– 1:56 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 west of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 6:30 p.m., (MSP), side-by-side utility vehicle crash, Morton and Chauvez roads, Riverton Township. (No additional information was available.)

– 9:21 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $35 in fuel stolen, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
– 11 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property, four damaged vehicle tires, Mason County Fairgrounds, Pere Marquette Township.
– 11:10 p.m., (MSP), a 34-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for driving while license suspended, US 10 near Walmart, Amber Township.
