AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 40-year-old Scottville woman was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital after the vehicle she was riding in inadvertently rear-ended a vehicle on US 10-31 near Dennis Road Monday afternoon. The crash occurred after a Chevrolet Cruz, driven by a 59-year-old Ludington man turned west onto US 10-31 from North Dennis Road in the path of a westbound Chrysler Town and Country mini-van driven by a 45-year-old Scottville man, according to Mason County Sheriff Acting Sgt. Jeremy King on the scene. As a result, the minivan rear-ended the Cruz.

King said neither driver of the two vehicles were injured and the minivan passenger appeared to have minor injuries. A teenaged child, riding in the backseat of the minivan, was uninjured.
