79th District Court sentencings and dismissals, posted Aug. 3, 2017.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Jesus Maria Chavez, 17, of 603 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty July 25 to three counts of breaking and entering a vehicle to steal property less than $200 and was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 60 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must enroll and attend school with no unexcused absences or tardies; no drugs/alcohol; and $765 in fines/costs. May perform 78 hours of community service in lieu of fines/costs. Two counts of larceny less than $200 and two counts of receiving and concealing stolen property were dismissed.

-Donald Robert Bouthot, 56, of 71 Warren Ave., Apt. 1, Lewiston, Maine, pleaded guilty July 25 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

-Adam Lee Passarelli, 28, no address listed, pleaded guilty July 25 to assault & battery and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must continue current counseling program; and $125 in fines/costs.

-Mark Edward Henderson, 37, of 11769 N. Charloon Dr., Manistee, pleaded no contest July 25 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 35 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; no drugs/alcohol; and must not have any contact with the victim. Two counts of second-offense domestic violence were dismissed.

-Alex Robert Baldwin, 29, of 114 E. Danaher St., Ludington, pleaded guilty July 25 to OWIL and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. Charges of failure to report an accident and failure to display a valid driver’s license were dismissed.

-Anna Maria Allen, 25, of 20125 Hanna St., Highland Park, Michigan, pleaded guilty July 31 to failure to display a valid driver’s license and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jeromy Sam Magnuson, 41, of 7894 66th Ave., Pentwater, pleaded guilty July 31 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Amanda Marie Collene, 36, of 6647 W. Ann St., Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty July 27 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year, 12 months of probation, and $335 in fines/costs.

Dismissals

-Christopher Lee Smalley, 28, of 7077 E. US 10, Branch Township, had a charge of selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor dismissed July 25 pursuant to a plea agreement in Circuit Court.

-Matthew Lee Grandon, 33, of 502 E. Danaher St., Apt. 2, Ludington, had a charge of driving while license suspended (DWLS) dismissed July 25 after correcting and reinstating his license.

-Sean Alexander Horb, 24, of 409 E. Fourth St., Apt. 2, Ludington, had charges of domestic violence and possession of marijuana dismissed July 21 due to an essential witness being unavailable.

-Russell Eugune Bailey, 44, of 10540 Ryan Rd., Honor, had a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) dimissed July 31 as part of a plea agreement after pleaded guilty to careless driving.

-Terre Rashida Green, 21, of 5648 Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Township, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed July 31 after pleading guilty to no proof of insurance.

-Lee Hamilton Bolby, II, 33, of 2294 N. Tallman Lake Rd., Sheridan Township, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed July 31 after pleading guilty to no proof of insurance.

-Anna Maria Allen, 25, of 20125 Hanna St., Highland Park, Michigan, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed July 31 after pleading guilty to no proof of insurance.
