Sixth Street closure.

LUDINGTON — Sixth Street between Lincoln and Sherman streets will be under construction beginning Wednesday, July 12. The street will be closed to through traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles and delivery trucks. Residents are being asked to place their refuse as normal on regularly scheduled days by 7 a.m. until the construction is completed.

On street parking will not be allowed along the route.

The project consists of the removal and replacement of the pavement, water main, sewer main and other related work. The bituminous pavement will be completely reconstructed the entire length of the project. Any items within the right-of-way (35 feet from the center of the road) are subject to removal by the contractor.

The general contractor for this project is Hallack Contracting Co. of Hart.
