Hospital Hustle 5K/1 Mile run this Saturday

LUDINGTON — The fifth annual Hospital Hustle at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital happens this Saturday, May 13, starting at 10 am in the hospital parking lot.  The event is both a fundraiser and hospital-sponsored community health event.

“The 5K run and One Mile Fun Run & Walk are open to all ages and abilities,” said lead organizer Pam Fink. “Since its inception, the event has been held Mother’s Day weekend to emphasize that it benefits the hospital’s Family Birthing Center. Free will donations will be gratefully accepted.”

Donations will be used to buy sleep sets, garments the hospital provides for each newborn. About 300 babies are born at the hospital each year.
