BRANCH TOWNSHIP — An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during a break and entering of a residence reported to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Saturday, May 6, at 6:17 p.m. on South Walhalla Road, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The victim returned home to find his residence had been entered some time during a three-hour period, the sheriff said.

10:55 a.m., (MCSO), a 49-year-old Graham, North Carolina man was cited for DWLS following a two-vehicle crash, Jebavy Drive and Hillside Road, Pere Marquette Township. No injuries occurred.

8:44 p.m., (MSP), a 19-year-old Onekama man was arrested for operating an unregistered vehicle and for operating without insurance, Democrat and Michigan streets, Free Soil Township.

4:34 a.m., (MCSO), a 55-year-old Pentwater man was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, northbound US 31 Freeway and Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.

6:45 a.m., (MCSO), a 25-year-old Three Rivers man was arrested on an outstanding Friend of the Court warrant issued in Branch County, 1000 block of Lancer Lane, Pere Marquette Township.

3:48 p.m., (LPD), domestic assault, 700 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

8:55 p.m., (MCSO), a 46-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested after a citizen reported a “suspicious vehicle” at Stearns Beach, City of Ludington. The vehicle was located by a Mason County sheriff’s deputy at the beach, and upon running the subject through the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN), the deputy learned of an outstanding warrant issued by the Grand Rapids Police Department, charging the suspect with aggravated domestic violence and stalking with no bond. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
