LUDINGTON — Construction on Sixth Street and South Washington Avenue begins Wednesday, May 3. The area of construction will be from Madison Street west to Washington Avenue then north to Fourth Street. The streets will be closed to through traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles and delivery trucks. Residents are asked to place refuse as normal on the regularly scheduled day by 7 a.m. until construction is completed.

The project consists of removal and replacement of pavement, water main, sewer main and other related work. The bituminous pavement will be completely reconstructed the entire length of the project.
