Search continues for missing Oceana County man.

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — It has been one week since 50-year-old Ryan Walsworth of Mears disappeared, and searchers continue their devoted efforts to find the man who is well-liked and popular in the Oceana County community.

A trending phrase, #BringRyanHome, is circulating through social media in the hopes that Walsworth will be found and the family will finally have closure.
A Michigan State Police dive team has been searching Lake Michigan near the Mason-Oceana counties line. Several family members and Walworth’s friends continue to scour the area.
An MSP helicopter has searched the area, and private pilot Dan Hallack has assisted in the search for the Walsworth, who is a local asparagus farmer. The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office continues to assist the friends and family searching the area. Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast said his department will continue to assist “as long as needed.”

check further. I’m here with them just as a source of resources if we had any cause to search a particular area.”
It is believed Walsworth’s body may be too far out in the lake or under the ice to be found any time soon.
Walsworth’s white 2012 Ford F150 Crew Cab pickup truck was found on Montgomery Boulevard, along Lake Michigan west of Bass Lake.
Mast said that Walsworth had expressed to his family that he had been contemplating suicide.
Walsworth was last seen leaving his residence in Golden Township the morning of Feb. 13 in his truck.
