Sheriff’s office responds to 10 crashes Tuesday.

MASON COUNTY — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office was busy Tuesday, Jan. 17, responding to a total of 10 separate crashes on icy roads.
One of the wrecks involved a vehicle that crashed into a motorist who was helping another motorist who was stuck in the ditch. No one was injured.
The two consecutive crashes occurred at the intersection of Eden Lake and Stella roads in Eden Township. The first vehicle crashed at 7:55 a.m. Then, five minutes later, another vehicle slid into the motorist who was assisting in pulling the driver out of the ditch, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
