LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:

– Jessie Myron O’Connor, 35, no address listed, pleaded no contest Nov. 17 to second-offense domestic violence and was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 27 days already served; jail time will run with sentence imposed by the Michigan Department of Corrections; and $200 in restitution. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). An additional charge of domestic violence, along with charges of possession of marijuana and malicious destruction of property (MDOP), were dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor with prejudice.

– Joseph Michael Bradfield, 52, of 1084 James Ave., Muskegon, pleaded guilty Nov. 16 to trespassing and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; one year probation; and $265 in fines and costs.

– Jayson James Funk, 22, of 6950 Maple Rd., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle and was sentenced to pay $265 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Anthony Ray Bennett, 28, of 3805 W. Pineview Ct., Ludington, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to driving while license not valid and was sentenced to pay $225 in fines and costs and may not operate a motor vehicle until legally able to do so. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– James Russell Girard, 56, 1965 Countyline Rd., Grant Township, was found guilty by the court Nov. 17 of having expired license plate registration and was sentenced to pay $80 in fines and costs.
Rebecca Jeanne McWilliams, 21, of 1777 W. First St., Amber Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to trespassing with an ORV on private property and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines and costs.

– Mark Steven Lange, 53, of 162 Harrison St., Manistee, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to trespassing with an ORV on private property and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines and costs.

– Douglas William Strzynski, 57, of 650 W. US 10, Amber Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to taking a bobcat out of season and was sentenced to pay $750 in fines and costs.

– Jon Elliot Moffitt, 55, of 511 E. Johnson Rd., Custer Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to using/loaning kill tag to another person and was sentenced to pay $250 in fines and costs.

– Barbara Ann Moffitt, 53, of 511 E. Johnson Rd., Custer Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to using/loaning kill tag to another person and was sentenced to pay $250 in fines and costs.

– James Joseph Wincek, 60, of 2830 Indian Trail, Eden Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to baiting/violating feed ban and was sentenced to pay $185

in fines and costs.
