LUDINGTON — COVE (Communities Overcoming Violent Encounters) is trying to help out some families in need this Thanksgiving. The agency is asking people who buy a turkey for their family dinner to buy a second one and donate it for a family who can’t afford to buy one.

Deadline for turning in turkeys is Tuesday, Nov. 22.
