Dancing with the Local Stars event to raise money for Ludington schools foundation.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — The Oriole Foundation, the fundraising organization of Ludington Area School District, will hold Dancing with the Local Stars event on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at Lincoln Hills Golf Club, 1527 N. Lakeshore Dr.

The event will feature local “stars” who will take the dance floor and raise money for the foundation, which provides scholarships and teacher grants. The Pennies from Heaven Foundation has offered to provide a matching donation of up to $500,000.
