SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Harvest Festival quilt show is today and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Scottville Area Senior Center, 104 S. Main St. The hand crafted quilts, many of them available for purchase, were created by Sandy’s Quilting Friends and The Country Quilters Guild. Select quilts will also be raffled: First prize, Mason County themed Grand Guild Quilt; second prize, blue and white 82-inch by 92-inch Spectacular Guild Quilt; and third prize, a 23-inch by 42-inch table runner. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the senior center for $1 each or six for $5. You need not be present to win.

In addition, the Michigan quilt is available for purchase for $1,500. The quilt is custom crafted and features many exquisite machine embroidery blocks along with a variety of three dimensional, appliqued, and paper-pieced blocks.
This quilt is an eye catching work of art, perfect for a feature wall in a home or business, or a very special addition to your quilt collection.  The quilt will be raffled in the future if it is not purchased during the festival.
