LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:

-Jessica Elaine Bedker, 41, 7351 Maple Ln., Belmont, Michigan, pleaded guilty on September 12 to driving a vehicle while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served, 93 days discretionary jail for one year, no operating a motor vehicle until legally able to do so, 12 months of probation, and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Malcolm Andrew King, 28, 1201 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty on September 12 to DWLS and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served, 93 days discretionary jail for one year, no operating a motor vehicle until legally able to do so, 12 months of probation, and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jonathan Herman Chambers, Jr., 20, 105 Fourth St., Apt. 2, Ludington, pleaded guilty on September 6 to third-degree retail fraud (shoplifting) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $667.19 in fines, costs, and restitution. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed a charge of trespassing/illegal entry.

-Timothy John Thorne, 34, 4020 N. Stephens Rd., Sherman Township, pleaded no contest on September 6 to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served, 90 days discretionary jail for one year, no drugs/alcohol, 12 months of probation and $285 in fines and costs.

-Jennifer Lynn Boes, 43, 5845 S. Taylor Rd., Logan Township, pleaded guilty on September 12 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year, not to operate a vehicle until legally able to do so, 12 months of probation, and $335 in fines and costs.

-Danielle Marie Hansing, 28, 102 W. Ludington Ave., Apt. 2, Ludington, pleaded guilty on September 12 to failure to display a valid driver’s license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year, 12 months of probation and $275 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
