2 injured in Jebavy Dr. crash.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Two people were injured following a single vehicle crash on Jebavy Drive between Decker and Fisher roads Monday night. The crash occurred about 9 p.m. when a northbound Chevrolet Suburban apparently crossed the centerline and then went into a ditch on the west side of the road, over a driveway and then landing in a patch of trees.

Extrication equipment was needed from Ludington Fire Department to remove the two men from the vehicle. They were both transported by Life EMS ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.

Crash scene investigators from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office were on scene. At the time of posting, deputies had not yet had a chance to get details such as the victims’ ages or residences.

Jebavy Drive between Decker and Dewey roads was closed, and remained closed as of posting at 11:10 p.m. UPDATED: Jebavy was reopened about 11:35 p.m.

Also responding to the scene was Hamlin Township Fire Department.
