Pedestrian injured after being struck in crosswalk.

LUDINGTON — A 27-year-old Ludington woman was injured after being struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk at the intersection of Rath and Ludington avenues Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 10:58 a.m., according to the Ludington Police Department.

The injured pedestrian was transported by Life EMS to Spectrum Ludington Hospital, and the driver was cited for failure to yield, according to LPD.

Another crash occurred Tuesday at 9:25 a.m. at Resseguie and Lavinia streets involving two vehicles, according to LPD. One vehicle failed to yield, resulting in a minor injury.
