LUDINGTON — The Mason County Neighbor to Neighbor project kicked off Tuesday with the clean up of two houses located west of downtown Ludington.
Habitat for Humanity of Mason County along with Pennies from Heaven Foundation began exterior work on the two apartment houses in an effort to clean up blight in the city. The two houses, at 201 N. William Street and 308 W. Court Street, were purchased by Habitat through a donation by House of Flavors Manufacturing, according to Jamie Healy, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Mason County.
The houses were identified as blighted through a study conducted by the City of Ludington.
