LUDINGTON – The following were sentenced in 79th District Court:

– Felipe Tudon, 31, of 1798 W. US 10, Amber Township, pleaded guilty on June 28 to stalking and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served, one year discretionary jail for two years, $900 in fines, costs and restitution, must have an anger management evaluation, and must not have any contact with the victim. In exchange for his guilty plea, charges of malicious use of a telecommunications device and malicious destruction of personal property were dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor with prejudice.

– Thomas Franklin Bullard, IV, 22, 7 Bay Breeze Ln., Beaufort, South Carolina, pleaded guilty on June 28 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 26 days in jail with credit for 26 days already served, 93 days discretionary jail for one year, $1,135 in fines and costs, must have a substance abuse evaluation, no drugs/alcohol, and subject to random PBTs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State. In exchange for his guilty plea, a charge of operating with a blood alcohol level of .17 or more was dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor with prejudice.

– Raymond Joseph Austin, 61, 2701 Crystal Lake Rd. Lot 39, Whitehall, pleaded guilty on June 28 to improper transport of medical marijuana and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year, $600 in fines and costs, no drugs/alcohol, and may perform 30 hours of community service within nine months to receive a $300 credit towards fines and costs.

Dismissal

– Logan Andrew Leavitt, 22, 7277 Golfwood Dr., Hamlin Township, had a charge of breaking and entering – illegal entry dismissed without prejudice on June 16. “Defendant has entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” according to court records.
