Motorcyclist injured on US 10.

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 57-year-old man was injured Thursday afternoon after the motorcycle he was riding rear-ended a vehicle stopped in traffic on US 10 between Jebavy Dr. and Pere Marquette Hwy. 

Mason County Sheriff Dept. Kyle Boyd said a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old PM Twp. resident was stopped for the traffic light, heading eastbound when the cycle crashed into her. The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. 

Responding were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, PM Fire Dept., Ludington Fire Dept. and Life EMS.
