Clerk candidate to speak at Tea Party meeting.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Mason County clerk candidate Mary Alway will be the guest speaker for this month’s Ludington Area Tea Party meeting, scheduled for Thursday, July 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 105 N. Dennis Road.

Alway is running as a Republican for the position. Her opponent is Cheryl Kelly, who is the current clerk, who was appointed in 2015 to replace Jim Riffle who resigned from the position.
