GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 59-year-old Manistee man was injured after his vehicle sustained a vehicle failure, left the road and struck a tree Thursday, June 23 7:37 a.m. at Quarterline and Koenig roads.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Grant Fire, Grant Jaws, Life EMS responded to the scene.
The driver was transported to West Shore Hospital in Manistee for non-life threatening injuries.

9:45 p.m., (MCSO), sex offender registry violation, 3000 block of Deren Rd., Riverton Township. A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office after a deputy, working off a “Offender Watch” tip found a 40-year-old Ludington man who had failed to register his vehicle on the SOR.
