LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

  • Griffin

    Griffin

    Marigo Lynn Griffin, 32, 1057 Lancer Lane Lot 27, Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty on February 9 to larceny from a building and habitual offender second offense. She was sentenced to 330 days in jail, must serve four months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 18 months of probation, and $658 in fines and costs.

  • Routley

    Routley

    Robert Harold Routley, 21, 804 S. Mitchell St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on May 4 to possession of a controlled substance less than 25 grams and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 47 days already served, must serve 47 days up front (already served) with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 18 months of probation, $658 in fines and costs, and license will be suspended for 30 days and revoked for 150 days. A charge of possession of a controlled substance (non-narcotic) was dismissed without prejudice by the prosecutor.

  • Shawn Ruse-Kiogima

    Shawn Ruse-Kiogima

    Shawn Michael Ruse-Kiogima, 21, 109 E. Foster St. Apt 2, Ludington, was found guilty on June 7 of violating his probation in connection with larceny from a building charges in 2014. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to two-to- four years in prison and must pay $1,725.23 in fines, costs and restitution.

    Jennifer Lynn Nickleson, 31, 210 E. 2nd St., Scottville, pleaded guilty on May 4 to carrying a weapon with unlawful intent and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 58 days already served, 90 days must be served up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 24 months of probation, and $658 in fines and costs. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed without prejudice a charge of assault with a weapon.

    Carroll

    Eric William Carroll, 32, 207 E. 2nd St., Scottville, pleaded guilty on March 16 to two counts of possession of a controlled substance between 25-50 grams and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 81 days already served, must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 18 months of probation, driver’s license suspended for 60 days and revoked for 305 days, and $666 in fines and costs. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor does not intend to proceed on double penalty enhancements.

  • Sarres

    Sarres

    Robin Jon Sarres, 58, 706 N. Emily St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on April 19 to two counts of failure to comply with the sex offender registration act and habitual offender third offense and was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 172 days already served, must serve 11 months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 24 months of probation, and $598 in fines and costs. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dropped two additional charges of failure to comply with the sex offender registration act and will not proceed with a charge of bond absconding.
