SCOTTVILLE — The merchants of Scottville are holding the town’s third annual Celebrating Success event Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will showcase Scottville area merchants, who will be set up at tables along Main Street in downtown Scottville. It also includes giveaways, beer tasting, hotdogs, children’s crafts and entertainment by Cats “N” Jammers. The event is sponsored by West Shore Bank and Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to come to downtown Scottville and see what our town has to offer,” said Nancy Sanford of the Scottville Downtown Development Authority and of West Shore Bank. “We as merchants want to share what’s happening and thank people for visiting the Scottville area.”

Tuesday is also the first concert in the summer Scottville Clown Band Shell concert series and will feature Marek Music Makers at 7 p.m. The concert series is hosted by the Scottville Optimist Club and Scottville Clown Band. Major sponsors of the band shell season include West Shore Bank, Mason County Press, Smith & Eddy Insurance and Mason County Central Schools.
