LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Jerimiah Jack Johnson, 26, 211 E. 12th St., Traverse City, pleaded guilty on May 24 to assault and battery, breaking and entering, and malicious destruction of a building – less than $200. He was sentenced to 62 days in jail with credit for 62 days already served, 93 days of discretionary jail time for one year, $825.48 in fines and costs, no drugs/alcohol, subject to random drug tests, no contact with victim, and must obtain outpatient mental health counseling.

– Leslie A. Point-Sanders, 53, 121 W. State St., Scottville, pleaded guilty on May 24 to operating while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served, 93 days discretionary jail time for one year, $870 in fines and costs, no drugs/alcohol, must attend victims impact panel, and must continue current counseling with Community Mental Health.
