Ludington man injured following Logan Twp. motorcycle crash.

LOGAN TWP. — A 65-year-old Ludington man was seriously injured following a single vehicle motorcycle crash at the corner of Walhalla and Kinney roads Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred after the southbound Yamaha motorcycle failed to initiate the curve onto East Kinney Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Sgt. Derrek Wilson. The man’s 62-year-old wife, a passenger, received minor injuries and was transported to Spectrum Heath Ludington Hospital.

A bystander started CPR and the man was being transported by Northflight Aeromed helicopter of Traverse City to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

On scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Bramch Twp. Fire Dept., Carr Area Fire Department and Life EMS. Pere Marquette Fire Department was also called for use of its aerial truck for the investigation.
The crash is being investigated.
