LUDINGTON – The following were arraigned recently in 79th District Court:


  • MacArthur


    Scott Samuel-Ray MacArthur, 21, no address listed, was arrested April 28 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for felonies of third degree criminal sexual conduct, accosting a child for immoral purposes and fourth offense habitual offender. Preliminary conference: May 18 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

  • Routley


    Robert Harold Routley, 21, 804 S. Mitchell St., Ludington, was arrested May 2 by the State, Sheriffs’, and Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. Preliminary conference: May 18 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety.


  • Tonya Renee Pluger, 33, 8747 N. M-37, Baldwin, April 28, Michigan State Police (MSP), failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: May 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.
  • Danyel Rebecca Horsley, 28, 2374 Sanders St., Custer, Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), retail fraud– second degree. Pretrial: May 23 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.
  • Cory Evan Carsten, 30, 802 N. St. Paul St., Ludington, LPD, assault and battery, Pretrial: May 9 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
  • James Lee Burrough, 45, 116 32 nd St., Wyoming, MCSO, driving while license suspended/revoked. Pretrial: May 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
  • James Phillip Biggin, 30, 602 E. Melendy St., Ludington, MCSO, retail fraud – second degree. Pretrial: May 16 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
  • Brittany Michelle Lauber, 27, 241 E. Johnson Rd., Custer Township, MCSO, retail fraud – third degree. Pretrial: May 9 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
  • Jennifer Lynn Nickleson, 28, 210 E. Second St., Ludington, MCSO, driving while license suspended/revoked. Pretrial: May 16 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
