LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Gregory Scott Malburg, 44, of 283 N. Jackpine Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty April 6 of window peeping and sentenced to $535 in fines and costs; outpatient treatment; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with the victim. One count of prowling – disorderly was dismissed.

– Kayla Ann-Marie Jowers, 23, of 1073 N. Dennis Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty April 5 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for five days served; jail term is concurrent with circuit court case; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Aaron Michael Alley, 37, of 6960 Wever Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty April 5 of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; outpatient treatment; 180 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend AA twice a week; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated and oen count of transporting open intoxicants were dismissed.

– Harley James Wicks, 22, of 9301 NE 11th St., Midwest City, Oklahoma, was found guilty April 5 of operating while impaired and sentenced to Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); $870 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Autumn Lanne Jourden, 24, of 4716 N. Beaune Rd., Hamlin Township, was found guilty April 5 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for nine days served; $205.99 in fines, costs and restitution; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and must attend the Economic Crime Program (ECP). She was found guilty April 5 of third-degree retail fraud in a separate file and sentenced to 24 days in jail with credit for 24 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have an updated Community Mental Health evaluation and follow recommendations; must attend ECP; and $631.01 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Bobbi Jean Latty, 36, of 176 Fournier Dr., Apt. 146, Baldwin, was found guilty April 5 of DWLS and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of no insurance and one count if improper plates were dismissed.

Dismissals

– Jesus Ivan Mosqueda-Rubio, 30, of 1114 Daisy Lane, Pere Marquette Township, one count of second-degree retail fraud was dismissed April 8. “Co-defendant pleaded guilty and accepted all responsibility. The ends of justice do not require further prosecution,” court records state.

– Arlie Dale Straub, 84, of 179 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Township, one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed, April 5. “Defendant has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to another offense arising out the same facts and circumstances,” according to his court file.

– Jeffrey Anthony Kapala, 30, of 2165 W. Hansen Rd., Amber Township, on count of operating without insurance was dismissed, April 7. “The ends of justice do not require further prosecution at this time,” his court file states.
