LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

Ethan Thomas Moody, 21, of 6175 E. Decker Rd., Sherman Township, was found guilty March 9 of reckless driving and sentenced to five days in jail with credit credit for two days served; $375 in fines and costs; and 93 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of third-degree fleeing a police officer was dismissed.

Jonathon Clair Bruyrsema, 40, of 12121 Blue Spruce Lane, West Olive, was found guilty March 9 of recreational trespassing on a farm and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.

Kenneth Duane Weenum, 60, of 1470 Copice St., Zeeland, was found guilty March 9 of recreational trespassing on a farm and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.

Tyler David Amstutz, 20, of 510 E. Main St., Hart, was found guilty March 10 of failure to obtain vehicle registration and sentenced to $120 in fines and costs.

Peter Daniel Johnson, 20, of 902 N. Washington St., Apt. 6, Ludington, was found guilty March 10 of driving while unlicensed and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Sonny Delton-Ray Lemire, 26, of 173 N. Stiles, Amber Township, was found guilty March 10 of disorderly person – urinating in public and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

Wesley Troy Lemire, 26, of 5041 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty March 10 of disorderly person – urinating in public and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

Jonathan Mark Hop, 21, of 4987 140th Ave., Holland, was found guilty March 11 of recreational trespassing on a farm and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.

Bradley Joseph Fredricks, 56, of 2600 Hiawatha Trail, Muskegon, was found guilty March 14 of snowmobile – no adult supervision and sentenced to $120 in fines and costs.

Jeffrey Allen Hughey, 54, of 1136 Cowing Grove, Pleasant Lake, Mich., was found guilty March 14 of open intoxicant on an ORV and sentenced to $295 in fines and costs. One count of failure to license/register ORV was dismissed.

Victor Samuel-Migel Bundy, 33, of 308 W. Court St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty March 15 of possession of marijuana and sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; $600 in fines and costs; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 30 days; one year discretionary jail for two years; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests.

Christine Dawn Jolly, 50, of 205 E. Filer St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was found guilty March 15 of larceny less than $200 and sentenced to 21 days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $535 in fines and costs.

Daniel Lee Bothwell, 39, of 109 W. Dowland St., Ludington, was found guilty March 15 of malicious destruction of a building less than $200 and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $600 in fines and costs.

Michael Brandon Donahue, 32, of 502 ½ E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty March 15 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $775 in fines and costs.

Michael Allen Olson, 54, of 1101 S. Madison Ave., Ludington, pleaded “no contest” March 15 to assault and battery and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; $742.56 restitution; $535 in fines and costs; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; must attend AA twice a week for one year; and random PBTs. One count of disorderly person – disturbing the peace and one count of disorderly person – drunk were dismissed.

Mark Allen Nickelson, 39, of 5925 W. Decker Rd., Hamlin Township, was found guilty March 15 of disorderly person – jostling and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; $285 in fines and costs; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; and no contact with the victim. One count of assault and battery and one count of breaking and entering without owner’s permission were dismissed.

Julie Rae Taylor, 58, of 2068 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was found guilty March 15 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have mental health evaluation and follow recommendations; and $600 in fines and costs. One count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed.

Heather Lynn Harthun, 43, of 264 6th Ave., Apt. 1, Manistee, was found guilty March 15 of operating while impaired by a controlled substance and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; inpatient treatment/completed; substance abuse counseling; $1,360 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; must comply with Child Protective Services requirements; may only take medications as prescribed; no alcohol/drugs; random drug tests; and must attend AA/NA twice a week for two years. Conviction reportable to SOS. In a separate file, she was found guilty March 15 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; and random drug tests.
