LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

Shelly Renee Lawton, 55, of 2522 N. Sherman Road, Hamlin Township, was found guilty March 8 of embezzlement $200-$1,000 and sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year; 60 hours of community service within six months; and $535 in fines and costs.

Keith Raymond Weis, 52, of 3277 Sullivan Rd., Ravenna, was found guilty Feb. 12 of recreational trespassing on a farm and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.

Carolyn May Rehbein, 75, of 720 E. Foster St., Ludington, was found guilty March 8 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year. One count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed.

Charlene Melissa Schlaud, 33, of 309 ½ N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was found guilty March 8 of embezzlement less than $200 and sentenced to nine days in jail; $905 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; and must complete Economic Crime Program within six months. One count of embezzlement $1,000-$20,000 dismissed.

Timothy Lee Hansen, 57, of 811 N. James St., Ludington, was found guilty March 8 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 30 days served unless he completes Impact Weekend within four months; outpatient treatment; one year discretionary jail for two years; Soberlink; no alcohol/drugs; must attend AA three times per week for two years; and $1,580 in fines and costs. Counts of possession of marijuana; preliminary breath test (PBT) refusal; and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of the State (SOS).

Derek Anthony Gomez, 24, of 1256 Montgomery Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty March 8 of disorderly person – disturbing the peace and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines and costs. One count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed.

Stacy Marie Green, 34, of 2916 Trepanier Dr., Lot 524, Hamlin Township, was found guilty March 8 of impaired driving and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $960 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Teresa Ellen Brown, 33, of ℅ 501 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was found guilty March 8 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served unless she completes Impact Weekend within four months; one year discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; must attend AA three times per week for two years; must remain on Soberlink for two years; outpatient treatment; and $1,580 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.

Leanna Rose Rittenhouse, 18, of 1673 N. Benson Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty March 8 of use of marijuana and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; $775 in fines and costs or complete 78 hours of community serve within eight months; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs and weekly drug tests.

Dismissal

John Robert Clark, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed March 8 after pleading to a lesser charge.
