LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

Rolando Jesse Villarreal, Jr., 43, no address listed, was found guilty March 1 of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) under $200 and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; jail credit for time already served; no contact with victim; $420 in restitution; and $535 in fines and costs.

Ann Marie Boerma, 52, of 7831 E. US 10 Hwy., Branch, was found guilty March 7 of driving while license not valid and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $255 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Kevin Monroe Methvin, 26, of 212 E. Ludington Ave., #341, Ludington, was found guilty March 3 of disorderly person – public intoxication and sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; must submit to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and $285 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

Bryant William Hasenbank, 34, of 5827 E. Free Soil Rd., Free Soil, one count of fourth-degree child abuse and one count of domestic violence were dismissed March 2. “Defendant has entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state.

Lucas Michael Mullen, 20, of 5079 S. Colonial Dr., Traverse City, one count of MDOP less than $200 was dismissed March 1. “The case is dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor with prejudice,” court records state.

Garrett Lee Hays, 17, of 592 S. Dennis Rd., Ludington, one count of MDOP less than $200 was dismissed March 1. “The case is dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor with prejudice,” court records state.
