Truck runs into hair salon.

LUDINGTON — John Bailey was cutting a customer’s hair at The Director’s Cut hair salon, 417 S. James St. this morning when a pickup truck hit the front of his business. “It was really scary,” Bailey said. “I was cutting hair and the next thing you know there’s a truck crashing into my window, right in front of me.”

Bailey said the truck belonged to a man who had been eating breakfast at Brenda’s Harbor Cafe, 316 S. James St., a block north. “The man was getting into his truck and it was still in drive,” Bailey said. “The truck came down the street, crossed over, scraped a tree and hit my building, a block away.”

Nobody was hurt during the incident. Bailey said a person on the sidewalk attempted to catch the truck but was unable to.

Bailey said he is working to fix the window. Ludington Police Department responded to the scene.
