Police seek warrant for synthetic narcotics possession

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A warrant is being requested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for a 61-year-old Whitehall man for synthetic narcotics possession and violation of the medical marijuana act following a traffic stop Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 3:30 a.m. at US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway.

The following is other local law enforcement activity in Mason County Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015:

5:40 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Hansen and Stiles roads, Amber Township.

7:35 a.m., (Michigan State Police, Hart post), car/deer crash, Scottville and Conrad roads, Custer Township.

10:50 a.m., (MCSO), a 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault and possession of marijuana on 21st Street in Sheridan Township after deputies were dispatched to a 911 call reporting an “unwanted person.” While responding to the call, deputies learned an assault had occurred.

3:50 p.m., (MSP), landlord/tenant dispute, 2000 block of West Kistler Road, Riverton Township.

5:20 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Rybicki and Hoague roads, Free Soil Township.
