AMBER TOWNSHIP — A ribbon cutting was held today at Century 21 Bayshore Real Estate, 325 S. Brye Road, to celebrate the business’ new owners, Kevin and MaryLyn Leavitt. Kevin will be the on-site owner/manager and comes to the position with years of experience in vacation rental properties in the Pentwater area and a strong business and law background. In 2014, Kevin retired from the Michigan State Police, having served 27 years, the most recent as post commander of the Hart post, with the rank of lieutenant.

MaryLyn is the broker/property manager for Sherman Oaks and The Manor at Sherman Oaks and plans to continue in that position.

“We are blessed to have the opportunity to help others find the perfect home or business in the area,” Kevin said. “Everyone knows how committed we are to the community by the countless projects, organizations and programs that we work with or support in one or another. We wanted to be part of a business that had the same commitment to the community, integrity, loyalty and responsibility to self and others. We found that excellence in the Century 21 brand and team.”

The business was purchased from Deb Bush, Cindy Papes and Michelle Anderson.
