Fire department called to apartment complex.

LUDINGTON — Ludington Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at Birch Lake Apartments, 922 E. Tinkham Avenue, Monday night. Fire Chief Jerry Funk said the fire was a ceiling fan on fire. Initial dispatch information indicated flames were showing. Funk said firefighters were able to use an extinguisher to put out the fire.
