AMBER TOWNSHIP – A semi trailer caused traffic to be re-routed around Scottville Thursday morning just as school traffic was coming through town.

A southbound semitruck on US 31 was making a right turn on US 10-31 when its trailer came off. As a result, west bound traffic was re-routed on North Main Street and then back to South US 31. Eastbound traffic was not impacted.

The incident occurred about 7:30 a.m. As of 8:10 a.m. a tow truck was on scene to move the trailer.
