Woman arrested on numerous charges; marijuana growing facility break-in

AMBER TWP. —  A 41-year-old Traverse City woman was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s deputies on numerous charges shortly before midnight Sunday, Oct. 25, after she was clocked on radar traveling 90 mph in a 55-mph zone at US-31 and Hansen Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. She was found to have an outstanding probation violation warrant out of Muskegon County and was also reportedly in possession of marijuana and open intoxicants.

In an unrelated case, the Hart post of the Michigan State Police is investigating a larceny of medical marijuana from an outdoor growing facility that was reported Friday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. in the 5000 block of West Fountain Road.
