20th anniversary Blessing of the Animals is Sept. 20.

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — Circle Rocking S Children’s Farm, 5487 N. Tuttle Road, will hold its 20th anniversary Blessing of the Animals, Farm Olympics and Silent Auction on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to bring their pets of all sizes for church service with blessing to follow. Entry fee is $5 with proceeds contributing to the ranch, the recipient of the 2013 Ludington and Scottville Area Community Service Award.
The event will also include 30 farm olympic games. Some games include: pet costume for dog, cat, rabbit, rodent, livestock, reptile/amphibian, fish bowl (must have a live fish) and hard boiled egg costume. For the humans the games include: pie eating, rubber chicken toss, people costume, hula hoop, jump rope, kid or spouse calling, chicken calling, egg toss team event. horse shoe and bale toss events.  For a complete program go to our web site at www.circlerockingsfarm.org and go to the event page or blessing page and click the blue program listing.
A silent auction will be held all day with great donated items and gift certificates from all over the state including car ferry tickets, Little River Casino Resort tickets, Detroit Tigers and Red Wings hand autographed sports items etc.
You do not need a pet to attend; blessed animals will each receive a free gift.
The ranch is located on Tuttle Road north of Fountain Road.
