Break-in, prescription drug theft among sheriff’s office activity

The following is Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Monday, July 6, 2015:

– 9:56 a.m., breaking and entering, 2200 block of W. US-10, Amber Twp.

– 1:14 a.m., larceny of prescription medications, 4200 block of E. Dewey, Sheridan Twp.

– 11:15 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Chauvez and Benedict, Riverton Twp.

– 11:17 a.m., a 34-year-old Ludington man was arrested at the sheriff’s office on an outstanding contempt of court warrant out of Mason County after he came into register his sex offender status with the sheriff’s office.

– 3:34 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US-31 Freeway north of Oceana, Summit Twp.

– 7 p.m., one-vehicle crash, minor injury, Hansen and Meyers, Amber Twp.

– 8:41 p.m., alarm activation, 1800 Crystal View, Amber Twp.

– 9:27 p.m., alarm activation, 900 block of Melendy, Pere Marquette Twp.
